How Lonny Paul’s neighbor’s dirt ended up on the new Adler album …

Adler CD-Steven's arm

Fleur the Kiwi

“The picture inside the [back] cover of the CD is Steven’s hand coming out of the ground. The dirt is my neighbor’s dirt over there [points out the window to the next-door neighbor's yard]. I actually took some dirt from my yard, because it was darker, and walked over there with my dirt and a camera and said, ‘Can I take a picture of your dirt?’

“He said, ‘Sure. Knock yourself out.’ So I spread my dirt on his dirt and took a picture, and then I came back and Photoshopped it with Steven’s arm and a few other things.” –Lonny Paul

And there you have it.

Coming tomorrow … Heart of Rock interviews with not one, but two members of Adler. Read them both and compare their answers!
